Warren Sapp's mansion auctioned off for $2.1 million

Super Bowl champ files bankruptcy

ORLANDO, Fla. – Super Bowl champion Warren Sapp's multi-million dollar Reserve at Lake Butler Sound mansion was auctioned off Thursday for $2.1 million as part of Sapp's bankruptcy.

According to a news release, the 15,000 square-foot, custom-designed Tuscan mansion, which was built in 2005 for nearly $7 million, includes 10,100 square-feet of living space and features four large bedrooms, a wine cellar, movie theater, a custom resort-style swimming pool complete with waterslide and lazy river, 500 feet of combined frontage, with dock, on Lake Butler and an array of upgrades and extras.

The home, which is located at 11049 Bridge House Road in Windermere, was sold to a fitness entrepreneur who said she isn't planning on living in the home.

Brenda Dykgraaf plans on reselling the home at some point. Although she says she might use the home's celebrity to market it, she says the home's former owner didn't have anything to do with why she bought the home.

"[It was]strictly a real estate deal. I live in Wesley Snipes' old home right next to where Tiger Woods used to live so it doesn't really matter to me," said Dykgraaf.

Lake Butler Sound is home to high-profile celebrities, professional athletes and business executives.
