West Melbourne man charged with 4 burglaries
Detectives say they recovered large amount of stolen property
Police in West Melbourne have arrested a man they say is responsible for a string of burglaries in the area.
David Holland, 44, of West Melbourne has been charged with four counts each of burglary, grand theft, dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership after police said he burglarized at least six homes, including four in a community for residents ages 55 and older.
In addition, detectives have recovered a large amount of stolen property, which they'll be showing the public and allowing to be claimed by its rightful owners.
Holland is being held at Brevard County Jail without bond.
Detectives are still investigating, and additional charges are pending.
