LAKE MARY, Fla. – Officials continue to try to identify a mystery odor that's plaguing residents near the Seminole-Volusia county line along Interstate 4.
Seminole County, Lake Mary and Sanford fire departments have been contacted multiple times in recent days about what callers thought was a gas leak. Officials said, however, that no gas leaks have been found, and the source of the odor remains a mystery.

Many callers described the smell as an "egg-like" odor.
The Seminole County Special Hazards and Operations Team has conducted testing, and county and city officials are working with partnering agencies to help identify the source of the odor.
