Mary Bullington, of Southport, N.C., was killed in the crash, which occurred around 8:40 a.m. on I-4 east near mile marker 125 in Volusia County.

The FHP said several motorists called 911 saying a SUV was being driven erratically on I-4.

Troopers said the SUV rammed the back of a tractor-trailer, which was stopped on the shoulder of the highway.  Bullington died in the crash and a dog inside the vehicle was injured, troopers said. Another dog inside of the car was not injured.

It's not known why the semi was pulled over.  The driver of the big rig, 54-year-old William Bryan, of Jacksonville, was not injured.

The FHP says there have been other recent crashes in the area, which is under construction, but Tuesday's wreck was not related to the construction zone.

No other details were released.
