DELTONA, Fla. – A Deltona mother was arrested on allegations of leaving her sleeping children -- ages 4 and 5 -- home alone while she visited her boyfriend.
Ykevia Jones, 23, was arrested on two counts of child neglect and one count of possession of marijuana under 20 grams.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to a home on Florida Drive around 1 a.m. Friday when a neighbor heard the 4-year-old crying in the front yard.
Deputies said they found the boy outside the home, while the 5-year-old was still asleep inside.
Volusia County sheriff's deputies said no adults were at the home, but they tracked down Jones' cellphone number and called her.
Jones initially claimed that she had gone to a store, but she later arrived at the house and admitted that she had been visiting her boyfriend, according to deputies.
A small amount of marijuana was also found in Jones' car, deputies said.
