POINCIANA, Fla. – A woman was attacked from behind early Friday at her Osceola County home as she was getting into her vehicle, according to deputies.

The attack occurred around 1 a.m. on Delido Way in Poinciana.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, the woman said she was in her driveway getting into a vehicle when a stranger grabbed her from behind.
The man beat the woman as she was trying to get away, according to deputies, who said the woman ran to a neighbor's house to call for help.
The woman was taken to Poinciana Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The culprit was described as a dark-skinned man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
