COCOA, Fla. – Cocoa police have arrested a woman who they say struck an 80-year-old with a kitchen mop stick in a driveway.
Mary Moore, 65, has been charged with battery on a person older than 65 and aggravated battery in the Monday incident.

According to police, Moore approached the victim "in an aggressive manner holding a mop stick," then proceeded to yell profanities and say that she was not going anywhere.
Police said Moore then struck the woman with the stick across the shoulder.
A witness trying to break up the fight was also scratched, according to police.
Moore was taken to Brevard County Jail.
