Woman delivers baby in car at 7-Eleven

Father uses shoestring to tie off son's umbilical cord

A Central Florida man helped his wife deliver their newborn son after pulling into a gas station.

Chad Malley told the Orlando Sentinel that he was rushing his wife to the hospital last week after she went into labor, but the little guy couldn't wait so he pulled into the parking lot of a Palm Bay 7-Eleven.

Malley's wife gave birth to a 9 pound 10 ounce boy they named Cais.

Malley said he used one of his shoestrings to tie off the baby's umbilical cord.
