ST. CLOUD, Fla. - Authorities charged a woman with driving under the influence after they say she drove into a pedestrian crash scene in St. Cloud on Friday morning.
Police say they were transporting a 74-year-old pedestrian with life-threatening injuries after the crash on 10th Street when Pamela Ann O'Neil, 39, nearly hit two St. Cloud police officers just before 6 a.m., police said.
O'Neil was arrested and charged with a DUI.
The crash victim hasn't been identified and was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center by ground after a helicopter couldn't land because of fog.
Charges are pending due to the investigation.
