TROUTDALE, Ore. -

The frigid temperatures apparently didn't matter to one Oregon woman who braved an icy river to try to escape from police.

Officers in Troutdale released dashboard camera video showing the woman's escape attempt from Wednesday.

An officer tried to pull over 26-year-old Rebecca Humphries for a "minor traffic violation." However, the officer quickly discovered the car was stolen.

The officer chased Humphries and the stolen Ford Taurus to the Stark Street Bridge. The video shows the woman get out of the moving car, climb the railing and leap to the frozen river below.

Humphries wasn't able to get far. Officers pulled her from the frigid river and arrested her before taking her to the hospital.
