Woman runs over toddler son with car, kills him

Haines City police say boy ran out into driveway in car's path

HAINES CITY, Fla. - Authorities say a Haines City woman accidentally backed over her toddler son, killing him.

Haines City police say Junette Celestin was backing into her driveway Wednesday night. When 20-month-old Zacharia Saint Jacques heard his mother's vehicle outside, he ran out the front door and into Celestin's path.

The boy was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Two teenagers had been watching the child when he ran out of the house. It wasn't immediately clear if charges would be filed.
