ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was slashed by a switchblade or box cutter and robbed while she was inside a bathroom stall at Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure, according to Orlando police.

The 49-year-old woman suffered lacerations to her right wrist, right leg and right index finger in the armed robbery, which occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday.

"That's scary. you don't expect that sort of thing to happen when your on vacation," Sian Breeden said Monday.

According to police, the attack occurred "from the adjacent stall used by the victim."

The culprit, believed to be a woman stole $50 from the victim and was able to escape without being seen, police said.

Monday women headed into the park were surprised to hear about the attack and that the attacker is believed to be a woman.

"It sounds awful, but you expect it to be a guy that would do that kind of thing not another woman to attack you and try to rob you. That is quite scary," Breeden said.

No other details have been released.
