Woman suing Orlando Sweet Tomatoes over illness

Lawsuit states woman became violently ill after eating at popular restaurant

Those "salads" such as potato salad and macaroni salad can add fat and calories. Opt for a green salad instead.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Central Florida woman is suing Sweet Tomatoes after she said she became violently ill after eating at the popular salad bar restaurant.

According to lawsuit filed by Syrina Sullivan, she had to be taken to the hospital last year after eating a salad at Sweet Tomatoes on East Colonial Drive in Orlando.

Sullivan filed a federal lawsuit against the chain seeking more than $15,000 in damages.

Lawyers for Sweet Tomatoes question Sullivan's allegations and say she isn't entitled to any money.

The company is asking a jury to decide whether the restaurant caused Sullivan's alleged sickness.
