Women stole pairs of glasses by hiding them in child's pants, police say

Cops say glasses taken from Daytona Beach store valued at $1,100

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Police are looking for two women who they say stole several pair of glasses from a LensCrafters store by stuffing them into the pants of a child.

According to police, the culprits entered the store at 2475 W. International Speedway Blvd. last month with two children.  Video of the theft was released on Tuesday, however.

One woman distracted a store employee while the other put six pairs of glasses, valued at $1,100, down her pants and the pants of a child, according to police.
