ORLANDO, Fla. – A pretrial conference was scheduled Wednesday morning in a high-profile murder case in Orlando.
Stephen Duxbury, who is accused of raping and killing Sasha Samsudean, 27, in 2015, had a pretrial conference.
Samsudean was found dead at Uptown Place, the Orlando apartment complex where Duxbury worked as a security guard and she lived.
Duxbury faces a life sentence if convicted on rape and attempted murder charges. His next case status hearing will be May 9.
