Yahoo! expands maternity leave
Move comes after banning telecommuting
Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer has announced another policy change, and this time, it's geared at parents.
The company has expanded their maternity leave program.
Under the new policy, both mothers and fathers can take up to eight weeks of paid child leave with benefits every time they have a new child.
New mothers are also able to take an extra eight weeks of paid leave after pregnancy.
The decision comes about two months after Mayer banned telecommuting at the company.
This maternity leave policy leaves the company more in line with other perk-heavy companies like Facebook and Google.
