According to Volusia County deputies, 78-year-old George A. Zimmermann has been receiving harassing phone calls for two weeks at all hours of the night telling him to "watch his back."

Zimmermann, who spells his name with two Ns, also told deputies on Saturday he received a voicemail that said he was a "dead man."

Zimmermann said he is not threatened by the calls and believes that the people are frustrated with the outcome of the Zimmerman trial, in which Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin.

He has since changed his number, deputies said.
