SANFORD, Fla. – Judge Debra S. Nelson has agreed to the defense's motion to keep jurors anonymous after the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman ends, but would not rule on a specific time frame.
State prosecutors agreed with Zimmerman attorney Mark O'Mara's motion for a "cooling off period," however, lawyers for various media outlets opposed the motion.

Nelson said she would keep the juror names and demographics secret for an undetermined time after the trial ends. Nelson said she will decide for how long the juror identities will be anonymous at another time.
The motion was ruled on just before the start of the Frye hearing, in which Nelson will determine if the state audio experts will be able to testify in Zimmerman's trial.
Jury selection is still underway after a week of potential juror questioning.
