ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orlando City Council candidate Ezell "EZ" Harris appeared before a judge on Friday after being arrested for the second time in a week on drug charges.
Harris, 50, was first arrested last Friday on narcotics trafficking charges.
Agents said they discovered more drugs, guns and pills at his home on Thursday, and a judge ordered him held on nearly $1.5 million bond.
Harris has claimed he is being targeted for political reasons. He has criticized Orlando Police Chief Val Demings and Commissioner Daisy Lynum, whom he is trying to unseat.
