'World's Smallest' Basketball Team Plays For Charity In Central Fla.

A one-of-kind charity basketball event in Central Florida featured what is believed to be the world's smallest basketball team.

The Tiny Trotters played members from the faculty at DeLand High School this week for charity.The basketball team features players who are all under 4 feet 6 inches."You don't have to be tall to play ball," a player told Local 6 during the game.The Tiny Trotters were videotaped playing tricks on the faculty team."Often the Tiny Trotters look like the Globetrotters," Local 6's Lee Goldberg said."They are very entertaining and are pretty good players, too," a fan at the gymnasium said."Each and every one of the guys has been through different stories and had their own little situations they have been through," Justice of the Tiny Trotters said. "Most of mine has been being teased and picked on. My message is, don't pick on midgets or we will kick you in the knee."The Tiny Trotters tour the country and play similar games for different charities.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
