Former Vikings Great Carl Eller Arrested

Minneapolis, MN -- (Sports Network) - Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Carl Eller was arrested for an alcohol-related driving offense, according to WCCO-AM.
Police spokesman Sgt. Jesse Garcia told the radio station that Eller was involved in the incident and then assaulted a police officer in north Minneapolis early Wednesday.
Eller was previously arrested in Golden Valley, Minnesota in 2006 and charged with driving under the influence. He later pleaded guilty to fourth-degree drunken driving, a misdemeanor.
Eller, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, is the Vikings all-time sacks leader with 130 1/2 and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
