U.S. Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross took the gold medal in the Women's 400 Meters Sunday in the London Games.
The three-time Olympian finished with a time of 49.55 seconds.
Britain's Christine Ohuruogu told the silver with a time of 49.70 seconds, and Richards-Ross' USA teammate DeeDee Trotter captured the bronze with time of 49.72 seconds.
Richards-Ross' gold marks a comeback of sorts for the sprint specialist. She finished a disappointing third at the 2008 Beijing Games.
