Yet another side of Tiger Woods is being revealed in the February issue of Vanity Fair.
The magazine’s cover for next month’s issue features a bare-chested Woods wearing a stocking cap and holding weights. According to the Detroit Free Press, the image was taken during a 2006 photo-shoot with acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The February issue will also feature a story on Woods’ downward spiral that was written by contributing writer Buzz Bissinger. According to the Los Angeles Times, part of Bissinger’s story includes: “There was no way of ever knowing Tiger Woods -- not in golf, beyond witnessing the machine-like relentlessness that made him the most remarkable athlete of our time, and not outside of golf, because he never showed any real part of himself off the course.”
Woods’ image took a hit in late November when after crashing his SUV in his Florida neighborhood, the world’s top golfer later admitted to having extramarital affairs on his wife, Elin.
