Fan Jumps In Racing Car, Drives Around Track

A racing fan in Altamont, Calif., was arrested after he quietly entered the winning car during an award ceremony and drove off, according to a Local 6 News report.
Professional racer Justin Philpott parked his vehicle after a race Altamont Park and was receiving an award when a man started the vehicle and sped off.
Local 6 News showed video of the fan driving around the track waving to the crowd.
When the man eventually stopped, race track security jumped on him and he was arrested.
The fan was taken into custody after a brief struggle. Several people in the audience applauded the arrest of the man.
Another person at the same track attempted to steal a tow truck but he was stopped and taken into custody.
