The Chicago Blackhawks reached a contract agreement with Swedish forward Dennis Rasmussen on Tuesday.

The one-year, two-way deal is worth $793, 000, according to TVA Sports.

The 23-year-old scored 16 goals and had 40 points in 52 games for Vaxjo HC in the Swedish league last season. His point total ranked 10th in the league. He added two goals and four assists in the playoffs.

In 149 career Swedish league games, Rasmussen has 85 points (40 goals, 45 assists).

Rasmussen also was a reserve on Sweden's bronze-medal team at the 2014 world championships and played in the 2010 World Junior Championships.
