Ex-NFL player charged with attempted murder
Bobby Sippio played with Chiefs
Former Kansas City receiver Bobby Sippio, most recently of the Orlando Predators in the Arena Football League, has been charged with attempted murder.
Sippio, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007, was charged with attempting to murder his girlfriend's brother, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Sippio, 27, and Santana Coats, 30, were charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, aggravated battery and kidnapping.
Sippio and Coats punched and kicked 27-year-old Sergio Moore and pointed a gun at him at a rural pasture late Thursday, according to an Osceola (Fla.) County Sheriff's report.
Moore sustained a broken nose and cuts to his hand and face.
