Free-agent guard Thabo Sefolosha is leaving Oklahoma City for the Atlanta Hawks.

The 30-year-old Sefolosha agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal with the Hawks on Thursday, ESPN.com reported.

Sefolosha averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds and started 61 regular-season games for the 1Thunder last season.

With the Hawks trading Lou Williams to the Toronto Raptors last week, they were looking for defensive help that Sefolosha could provide.

Sefolosha spent six seasons with the Thunder after beginning his career with the Chicago Bulls. In 551 regular-season games, the 6-foot-7 Sefolosha is averaging 5.8 points and 3.7 rebounds.
