Marcus Jordan's 28 help UCF beat NC A&T 77-65
Jordan's 28 points tie career-high
Marcus Jordan tied a career-high with 28 points and his brother, Jeff, added nine points and six assists to help Central Florida defeat North Carolina A&T 77-65 Tuesday night.
Keith Clanton had 13 points, P.J. Gaynor added 11 points and Isaiah Sykes had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Knights (7-2). North Carolina A&T (4-6) was led by Marc Hill with 17 points and Jean Louisme with 12.
The Jordan brothers, sons of Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, helped the Knights hold off a late rally. The Aggies cut a 13-point halftime deficit to 66-60 on Louisme's 3-pointer with 4:47 left, but they missed their next three shots and turned it over once to kill the rally.
Marcus Jordan got 17 of his points in the first half, including four 3-pointers, as the Knights outscored the Aggies 24-5 in the final 8 minutes for a 39-26 halftime lead.
