The NFL will use an iPad application to help its team doctors diagnose concussions.
The league demonstrated how the app works Friday at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis. Its Head, Neck & Spine Committee made the recommendation.
The app creates a scoring system in determining if a player has a concussion. A significant discrepancy between a player's baseline score and gameday score will indicate that a player has a concussion.
