Nationals Garcia shut down for 10-14 days

Washington Nationals pitcher Christian Garcia will be shut down for 10-14 days because of pain near his right wrist, CSNWashington.com reported.
An MRI exam revealed a mild sprain, and rest was prescribed.
Garcia, 27, had a 2.13 ERA in 12.2 innings of relief for the Nationals last season. He is expected to begin the season with Triple-A Syracuse with the idea of making him a starting pitcher.
