ORLANDO, Fla. -

Local 6 has learned the quarterback for the Orlando Predators has been arrested on Monday on driving under the influence and resisting arrest without violence charges.

The Predators released a statement on Monday following the morning arrest of Kyle Rowley.

"We are aware of the situation with Kyle this morning and are working with our coaches and legal representatives to address the problem," said Predators Managing Partner Brett Bouchy. "This was an unfortunate mistake on Kyle's part and we will handle the problem accordingly."

The Predators will have an internal investigation, according to the statement.

"The Orlando Predators team and organization do not condone, enforce or excuse driving under the influence or endangering the safety of others," the statement read. "Once we have had our internal investigation, we will address this issue further."
