Predators acquire Ford from Blues for Lajunen

The Nashville Predators acquired defenseman Scott Ford from the St. Louis Blues for forward Jani Lajunen, the team announced Thursday.

Ford will head to the Predators' developmental team, the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.

The 33-year-old posted six points and 54 penalty minutes while serving as captain for the AHL's Peoria Rivermen in 2012-13. In four seasons with the Admirals starting with 2008-09, he collected 36 points on 11 goals and 25 assists in 279 games.
