Oklahoma State looks to win its fourth straight game when the No. 14 Cowboys visit Iowa State on Wednesday night. Oklahoma State, which is 5-4 on the road, is coming off a 78-65 victory at home against Texas on Saturday. The Cowboys are 63-53 in the series against Iowa State and have won the last two meetings, including a 78-76 victory Jan. 30 in Stillwater.Iowa State is on a two-game losing streak. The Cyclones are coming off an 86-69 loss at Oklahoma on Saturday. Junior guard Markel Brown leads the Cowboys in scoring (15.7) and needs two steals to become the sixth player in school history with 100 steals and 75 blocked shots in a career. Freshman guard Marcus Smart, who is second on the team in scoring (14.6), had 21 points and the game-winning layup with 3.1 seconds left in the Cowboys' last meeting with Iowa State. Smart leads Oklahoma State in assists (121) and steals (82), both school records for a freshman. Redshirt sophomore forward Michael Cobbins leads the team in rebounding (6.3). The Cowboys limit opponents to 61.2 points per game and 38.6-percent shooting from the field.ABOUT IOWA STATE (19-10, 9-7): The Cyclones, who are in fifth in the Big 12, lead the country in 3-pointers per game (9.9) and 3-pointers made (288). Senior guard Will Clyburn leads the Cyclones in scoring (14.6) and averages 7.1 rebounds. Junior forward Melvin Ejim leads the team in rebounding (9.4) and averages 10.8 points. Three other Cyclones average double figures in scoring: senior guard Tyrus McGee (13.8), freshman forward Georges Niang (11.5) and redshirt senior guard Korie Lucious (10), who averages a team-high 5.6 assists.
