A.J. Hammons had 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench, D.J. Byrd scored 11 points and Ronnie Johnson finished with 10 points and six assists.Iowa went the last 12:41 of the first half without a field goal, but still managed to take a 23-16 lead into the break.
