Another Penn State player reportedly has decided to transfer.
Senior wide receiver and punt returner Justin Brown has informed Oklahoma coaches that he will join the Sooners for his final season of eligibility, ESPN.com reported Saturday.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Brown was the Nittany Lions' second leading receiver last season with 35 catches for 517 yards and two touchdowns. He would be the ninth player to leave the program after the NCAA hit the school with sanctions in the aftermath of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
Brown could be an immediate contributor at Oklahoma, which has a dearth of players at the position in camp because of suspensions. Earlier Saturday, coach Bob Stoops announced that suspended receiver Kameel Jackson wouldn't return to the program.
Brown is expected to arrived on campus Monday, a source told ESPN.com.
His loss is a blow to Penn State's receiving and return corps. Brown totaled 1,047 receiving yards during his career and ranked 36th in the country in punt returns in 2011.
