Under sunny skies and picture perfect weather, the University of Miami began spring practice this weekend.
The focus of the weekend practice was on quarterbacks and offensive sets. Quarterbacks practices three-step drops, two minute drills and third down situations.
"I think (today's energy) is a tribute to our strength staff because they were able to recover (from Saturday) quickly and get a lot done today." Head Coach Al Golden said. "It was a lot of football today. The kids did a great job responding."
Miami's spring practice continues Tuesday at GreenTree Practice Fields.
Other state universities begin spring practice later this month. UF and UCF begin on March 13th, FSU starts on the 20th.
