Twins 3, Indians 1

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota, behind a terrific spot start from Anthony Swarzak and a three-hit effort from Danny Santana, took the rubber match of a three-game series.

Swarzak (2-0), starting in place of injured Kyle Gibson, allowed only one run and two hits in five innings.

Santana's one-out triple in the third inning was Minnesota's first hit. He scored one batter later when Sam Fuld singled to center. Santana also had a one-out single in the fifth inning, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on Brian Dozier's bloop double into right field to give Minnesota the lead for good.
