LPGA's future stars in Longwood, one gives Jamie Seh a lesson

Symetra Tour tees off at Alaqua Country Club

LONGWOOD, Fla. – Potential stars of the LPGA's future are in Seminole County this week, teeing off at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood.

The Symetra Tour, formerly known as the FUTURES tour, is holding its IOA Golf Classic beginning Friday morning. The champion will be crowned Sunday.

The Symetra Tour is the developmental tour of the LPGA, a proving ground for the best and brightest young female golfers.

Every year the top 10 finishers on the Symetra Tour earn an exemption to the LPGA Tour. The IOA Golf Classic is a crucial stop on the Symetra schedule.

One LPGA Tour hopeful is Selanee Henderson. The Southern California native was gracious enough to give Local 6 sports anchor Jamie Seh a lesson.

Seh, self-described as one of the worst golfers on the planet, experienced immediate improvement.
