ORLANDO, Fla. -

Local 6 Sports Director David Pingalore has learned that the Orlando Predators are trading for journeyman quarterback Aaron Garcia.

Garcia, 42, is currently with the San Jose Sabercats and holds numerous Arena Football League records.

The deal would include the Predators sending wide receiver Amari Jackson. The Predators would also get in return offensive lineman Devin Clark.

Garcia still has the option of retiring and not playing for the Predators despite the trade but according to sources, he will "most likely" join the Predators, according to Pingalore's sources.

The trade comes after a week of off-the-field distractions with the Predators starting quarterback Kyle Rowley's arrest on driving under the influence charges.

According to Pingalore's sources, Rowley will make the trip Sunday to Arizona and start for the Predators.
