Pride take 5-0 victory over Sky Blue FC

ORLANDO, Fla.The Orlando Pride took a 5-0 victory over Sky Blue FC on Saturday night at Orlando Stadium.

Pride set a record for most goals in a match, as well as the club's record for most goals scored at the stadium.

With six games left to play, Orlando is now in fourth place in the league table.

“I was pleased with the performance tonight," head coach Tom Sermanni said. "I think it was a comprehensive win. We were really tight defensively. We kept possession better and more consistently than we had been. We can still do a little better, but I felt when we kept possession and broke their pressure. We looked really dangerous."

Pride's next two matches will be on the road. The team will face the Boston Breakers on Saturday and FC Kansas City on Aug. 26.

Orlando will return home on Sept. 2, when Pride will take on the Breakers at 7:30 p.m.
