The Dallas Cowboys acquired linebacker Rolando McClain and a seventh-round pick from the Baltimore Ravens for a sixth-round pick on Tuesday.
The Cowboys, looking to fill a hole left by Sean Lee's season-ending injury, are hoping McClain can at least provide depth at the position, provided he makes the team.
McClain, a former first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders, reportedly showed up to Ravens organized team activities out of shape in April after coming out of retirement and decided to retire again. He has since had another change of heart.
McClain had 246 tackles and 6.5 sacks in three seasons with the Raiders.
Lee was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday.
