What's new for Daytona Speedweeks

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – This year's action-packed auto racing schedule known as Speedweeks, will feature seven races from four different racing series, which will rev up to the 58th Daytona 500. 

The adrenaline-pumped week begins Feb. 13 and runs through with Feb. 21 with the last day being the Daytona 500.

It kicks off with the ARCA Racing Series, followed by a group of drivers trying to qualify for the front row in the Daytona 500, and the NextEra Energy Resources 250, a 100-lap competition known for its close finishes, along with many other thrilling races. 

The speedway, which had a $400 million redevelopment, offers dynamic sightlines, wider seats, and upgraded amenities, according to its site. 

The Daytona 500 pre-race concert will feature the award-winning country duo Florida Georgia Line and with an introduction of the drivers before they take off.
