Officials said David Pavelka was golfing on the tenth hole at the Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Course when he was attacked by wasps.

"I pulled off my hat and flailed madly at these things," Pavelka said. "I received, I can only assume, around 200 or more stings to my body. It's just like taking a hot needle and sticking it into my skin thousands of times."

The unbearable pain bought him to his knees.

"I was starting to lose my vision, and was totally incoherent," Pavelka said. "And I just looked at Jack and said, 'Please get me to a hospital,' because I knew something was terribly wrong."

Course operators brought in a professional bee keeper to figure out where the angry insects came from.
