Suspect Kicks Out Police Vehicle Window

SPRING GROVE, Pa. -- A 14-year-old boy on a motorcycle passed a female jogger several times Tuesday night in York County before getting off his bike, knocking her to the ground and trying to rape her, according to police.
Police said the incident happened around 6 p.m. in Spring Grove, North Codorus Township, reported WGAL-TV in Lancaster, Pa.
The 22-year-old jogger screamed, fought off the boy and ran to a nearby residence, where the homeowner called police, authorities said.
Police said they found the suspect at his Spring Grove, North Codorus home and that the victim identified him as her attacker.
Police arrested the boy. They said after they had restrained him, he kicked out a police vehicle window. He did not require medical attention, according to police.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was taken to the York County Juvenile Detention Center.
He is charged with criminal attempt to commit rape, criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal attempt to indecent assault, criminal attempt to aggravated indecent assault and other charges.
