An deer was captured on video flying up and over a Missouri sheriff's deputy cruiser, nearly causing the officer to lose control of the vehicle.

The dash cam video from a Jackson County officer's car shows the deer running out of the darkness and leaping across the road.The deer traveled over the front of the vehicle, over the roof of the vehicle, and then ran into the darkness uninjured.The surprised deputy was able to stop the vehicle on the dark road and was not injured.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
