Jacqueline London is a familiar face to many in Central Florida.

As a Local 6 news anchor, she has dedicated herself to providing news that's accurate, important and relevant to people's lives.

During her time at Local 6, she has anchored every newscast, ranging from early morning to late evening. She now co-anchors the market's first and only full hour of news at 6:00 p.m.

Jacqueline is a winner of two Emmy Awards including an Emmy for a 1-hour Local 6 Primetime special, titled, "Primetime London" which she wrote, produced and hosted.

Among her numerous accolades, The Orlando Business Journal voted Jacqueline, "Best Local News Anchor."

The broadcast journalist received her journalism and mass communications degree from the University of Iowa and began her television career in Moline, Illinois. Within six months she progressed from reporter to anchor.

Jacqueline spends much of her free time helping raise money for various organizations that are close to her heart, including The Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Florida, Hope and Help, and The Give Kids the World Village. Jacqueline has volunteered for the Village, which provides chronically and terminally ill children a dream vacation with their family.

In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys planning her upcoming wedding and traveling.

In a business that can be very hectic at times, Jacqueline says she's too blessed to be stressed and is so grateful for the warm reception Central Floridians have given her from the start.

Having moved here from Chicago, Jacqueline says the people here are just as warm and inviting as the wonderful weather and she's proud to call Central Florida home.
