Motorcyclist run over, killed on I-Drive

FHP IDs victim as Carlos Carrion

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 35-year-old Kissimmee man was run over and killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and slid into an intersection in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The FHP said Carlos Rodriguez Carrion died in the crash, which was reported at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at International Drive and State Road 535 in Orlando.

According to troopers, Carrion was driving a 2004 Suzuki east on I-Drive when he lost control of the bike for an unknown reason and slid into the intersection.

A 54-year-old Windermere woman driving a 2005 Nissan four-door south on SR 535 was unable to stop and ran over Carrion, the FHP said.

Carrion was pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges will be filed in the crash, the FHP said.
