ORLANDO, Fla. – A 23-year-old man was killed late Sunday near the University of Central Florida in a crash involving a car and a motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said John Bulat, of Orlando, died in the crash, which was reported on Percival Road at Rutgers Avenue near Lake Pickett Road.
According to the FHP, a Ford Mustang driven by Rachel Mitchell, 20, of Orlando, turned into the direct path of Bulat, who was struck and ejected from his motorcycle.
Bulat was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, troopers said.
The fatal crash remains under investigation, and charges are pending against Mitchell, the FHP said.
