WKMG Searches For New Traffic Reporter

Local 6 is holding open auditions for Central Florida's next traffic reporter on April 23. People who want the Local 6 job do not have to have television experience so all are welcome to audition.
The auditions will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 23 at the station's Studio B. The station is at 4466 John Young Parkway in Orlando.
Ten finalists will be chosen to be the next traffic reporter and viewers will help make the decision of who wins the job.
On May 11, viewers can visit Local6.com and vote for their favorites.
WKMG plans to announce the new traffic person on May 21.

Whatever you feel projects your personality. Can I bring props?
Yes! Anything that help us understand who you are trying to sell. Can I bring a resume, reel or tape?
It's not necessary. You're one minute audition will determine whether you move on the second round. Where do I park?
You will be instructed where to park when you arrive. How long should I plan on staying?
The actual audition is only one minute, but we will take people on a first come first serve basis with a hard 3pm cut off time. What time should I come?
Use your best judgment. Auditions start promptly at 9am. Can I bring a guest?
You may bring whomever you wish. However, only the person auditioning will be allowed into the Local 6 studios. Do I need to come with my own prepared script?
