Central Florida Tolls Dropped
POSTED: Thursday, September 2, 2004
All tolls were lifted on Central Florida roads Thursday to ease the traffic situation as the state prepares for Hurricane Frances.
The move is to assist people in getting people out of the path of the storm.
Tolls were reportedly lifted in both directions on Florida's Turnpike from Wildwood to Florida City.
Also, the Beeline Expressway may also be turned into a one-way road, Local 6 News reported.
For more information, motorists may call a state information line at (800) 342-3557.
